Attend the Edcamp of choice.

What's an Edcamp?

  • Edcamps are open to anyone who wants to attend;
  • They are participant-driven - Made up of sessions that are determined on the day of the event by the people who want to participate;
  • Sessions are conversations, not presentations - there is not authority in the session; the people sharing together are the authority;
  • They are reliant on the "Law of Two Feet" that encourages participants to find a session that meets their needs.

How to be an awesome Edcamper:

  • Start a Conversation - A session can begin with an idea... a question... a problem... a doubt... an opinion... a story.  You do NOT need to be "The Expert", just someone who wants to learn.
  • Listen to Your Feet - If you find that the Edcamp you're in isn't what you wanted, you may just leave and attend another event.  Edcamps are about learning from each other.
